A blob of clear nail varnish seems to work ok.nettypoolehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15484911555356470284noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157095593736922566.post-50487897960002845972011-06-08T21:55:10.892-04:002011-06-08T21:55:10.892-04:00I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with stre...I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with stretchy bracelets! I also use an overhand knot (just put both strands together and knot them around each other, like the end of a sewing thread.)
I also like to put the glue on the knot and then slide it inside a bead to dry. Voila! instant 'endless' bracelet.
Stretchy bracelets made my car payments one year...
CynthiaCynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07398905186830718886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157095593736922566.post-52367428302840327192011-06-08T10:48:56.474-04:002011-06-08T10:48:56.474-04:00Thank you so much, I don't know why I have bee...Thank you so much, I don't know why I have been so chicken to try this...
Have a wonderful afternoon!
Take care,
LisaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157095593736922566.post-48718849973034865512011-06-08T09:31:18.978-04:002011-06-08T09:31:18.978-04:00EXCELLENT post. A couple of other tips:1) The standard size for stretchy bracelets is about 7.5 inches. I make it a fraction bigger so that it doesn't receive as much stress. 2)Make sure your bead holes are smooth;it's easy for a burr to slice through the elastic 3)Stretch magic in 1 mm has proved very durable for me.treasureislandcraftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06067787971007775713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5157095593736922566.post-35462721707268759682011-06-08T06:51:44.930-04:002011-06-08T06:51:44.930-04:00Hi Jennifer, thanks for the tip, i make the little ...Hi Jennifer, thanks for the tip, i make the little stretchy rings for little girls at my festivals they are fun!
take care ttfn L:)somethinguniquehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08957841980129444490noreply@blogger.com
