Show Me Sunday - Bird Beads! - with Rebecca Anderson of Songbeads

This week, we are still celebrating our gorgeous feathered friends. I have tons to share with you this week!

From top left, clockwise:

Earrings made by the aptly names Bantering Bird, using ceramic charms from WhiteCloverKiln

A sweet bird charm from Amazing Porcelain. This one has sold but Marsha has more beautiful beads in her shop.

Gorgeous wee birdies from Bo Hulley Beads - I love the imprinted wing detail! These will be in Bos shop early next week.

Beautiful and unusual polymer lonesome doves from Jeannie Dukic. Love the rustic patina Jeannie has achieved on these.

I got so many suggestions from people here and on Facebook, that I managed to make another bead bird treasury, can you believe! Look at all this wonderful inspiration.

I love the mixture of different media that people have suggested here - who would have thought there would be so many different ways of portraying birds in bead form?

For next week, keep linking in those bird beads. Leave your links in the comments. Let's see if I can create a third treasury!

And now the bead blogger links:

Do you ever feel the need to adorn your ankles with jewels? Lisa is preparing to do just that!

Tammy continues to explore bead crochet with this new necklace tutorial: Lampwork Beads and Gold Thread Crochet Necklace.

Cyndi took part in a recent blog hop that honored those we love most.

Now that ETI has a new resin clay, Carmi can work in 3d, hence her steam punk wolf cuff.

Jean shows and tells: a piece she made using wonderful!!! Beads Mosaic shop components becomes "The Dragonfly Chatelaine"

Andrew experiments with bright neon colors and shares his method of dealing with a new color palette.

Among my favorite beads, little birds just seem to convey innocence, joy and industry, Rebecca. Thanks for all the links, some of which are new to me.
