September's Art Bead Scene Challenge theme is When Beads Collide. This month's prizes have been generously provided by two talented bead artists, Joan Miller Porcelain Beads and Heather Powers of Humblebeads. Joan donated her whimsical porcelain Halloween themed charms and beads. Her Dead Head pendant is the perfect example of when beads collide. The top hat bead is a collaboration with bead artist Penny Michelle. The large pumpkin focal bead has a spider on the back with two matching pumpkin accent beads. Heather has donated a set of disk beads and wafers inspired by the colors of a fall harvest. These would look great with a leafy pendant in silver or raku leaves in copper hues. Ironically, I purchased one of Joan Miller's and Penny Michelle's Dead Head pendants last night, thinking it would make a great focal for an entry! Joan's and Heather's beads make a super prize...
