Hi Art Bead Sceners! Are you having a good week? Has Spring reached you yet? Have you entered our giant birthday giveaway yet? (Hop over and do so if not!). There's so much going on with ABS at the moment - giveaways, new members of the team - Mary Harding, Claire Lockwood, Ema Kilroy - collaborative projects that are going on behind the scenes (yes indeed, watch this space!)....it feels energetic and like we are ready for our 8th year of Art Beads! Are you ready to come along for the ride? Are you? We hope so!
This week, we're still on with stringing materials, and I thought it only apt that I share some of 'new girl' Claire's beautiful hand-patinated chain.

Isn't it rather special? Claire is currently sold out of this lovely stuff - but I bet if you gave her a wee nudge, she might be able to whip you up a custom order or two.
Here are a couple of pieces of jewellery created using Claire's chain ~
I would love to see some other creative uses of this fun chain! Share your pictures either in link form in the comments, or post them on our Facebook page.
Next week is the Monthly Challenge Recap so the next time you see me for Monday's Musings, it will be April, can you believe! And April is a special month for me, because it's my birthday month. (Feel free to send beads and cake, by the way ;-) ) It's also the first of that famous saying....April Showers bring May Flowers.....so I think we've got our next two monthly themes sorted! Water beads is our new theme for April....I can't wait to see what you will find. They can be directly water-inspired (raindrops, sea swirls, clear pools etc) - or why not think out of the box - creatures that live in the water, plants that grow in the water.....see what you can find.
And now for the BeadBlogger Links. Have a great week!

Oh wow! Thank you, Rebecca! I need to get the chain situation sorted! Thanks again!
Those earrings are super awesome! Great use of the chain, which is so unusual. The colors are really nice because they don't scream at you, but still say something. Nice! -- Julie
Claire makes the loveliest patinated chains. Thank you for featuring my necklace too Rebecca!! xxx
