I Heart Tools - Tool Magic

Tool Magic is a heavy duty rubber coating that you use on your
jewelers pliers.
This is a great product! It has become invaluable to me since I started working with anodized aluminum jump rings. It won't mar the metal.
There are easy to follow directions on the jar. You will need a tool rack or coffee mug to hang your pliers on after they have been dipped.

Dip your pliers slowly into the jar. Do not dip the hinge.

Slowly pull your pliers out of the coating.
Sit your pliers upright on a tool bar or the edge of a coffee mug
without the jaws touching.
Let dry 2-3 hours.

You are ready to work with wire or jump rings without marring the metal.
