Featured Designer of the Week: Kate Clawson of Organic Odessy

Each Monday we feature the Designer of the Week. One of our editors pick their favorite from the Monthly Challenge entries. This week's featured designer is Kate Clawson of Organic Odessy.

ABS Editor, Cindy Gimbrone says of Kate's Carnival Necklace:

"Kate has captured Vestie Davis' painting beautifully in her design, the colors, the flags, the ticket and the Luna Park pendant simply sing with perfection!"

See more of Kate's nature inspired art beads in her Etsy Shop and on her blog.

I'm not sure what happened to my comment, I know I posted to this a couple days ago. I have been having trouble with blogger lately so maybe they ate it!

I want to thank Cindy for choosing me as designer for this week. I was so busy this month I wasn't sure I could get something done for the challenge but it was such a wonderful painting and fun I just had to and now I am so glad I did! I just found out too that my necklace was featured on Polymer Clay Daily from this challenge so a double surprise and honor!

and thank you for all your kind words and encouraging! Yes, I really liked the ticket touch too, the ticket booth is small in the painting but I love searching out the details! :)
