Hello all! It's Monday - and by golly, it's SEPTEMBER. How on earth did that happen? I am sure I say that every month but really, September? Autumn just around the corner?? I blinked and missed the summer, that's for sure. Now, I know all of you lot, especially in North America, are going to tell me how excited you are for Fall/Autumn - but that's because you get bright, crisp, low-lit crunchy Autumn days that just don't seem to happen very often here in the UK. One day I will venture to New England and see the leaves, I will I will I will......By the time Autumn gets going here, it's more rain, rain, cold and a bit more rain....the leaves are a lot less enticing when then are sludgy rather than crispy!
But enough of my complaining about the nip in the air. I know that for many of you, it's your favourite season. And I can't blame you when I see pictures of that elusive perfect Autumn day. They are pretty special! And so September's theme is going to be Autumn/Fall beads. Yay!
Here's what I found for you for this week:
A very special set from Naos Glass
Are they art beads? I'm not sure but these are handmade and definitely super-fun! From The Felting Dorcas. I think they would add a special touch to any jewellery they were used in.
Seriously, I could feature Donna Millard's beads every.single.week. EVERY FLIPPING WEEK! How do I not own any of her beads?! This is a jaw-droopingly awesome set from Donna, as usual.
One of my own favourite art bead artists, Beads by Earth Tones. I LOVE these sweet owls, and Alison just keeps bringing them out in new cute colours!
Nancy Adams makes some of my most favourite ceramic beads ever ever ever! Yes, I know that's not good English, but it's true. She's a truly amazing artist. And she loves house rabbits too! Round Rabbit Extra.
Another sweet owl to round off this collection. Isn't he sweet? From the talented hands of Cynthia Thornton.
Which ones is your favourite? And do you have your own favourite Autumn/Fall beads to share? Please leave links in the comments - I can't wait to see!
And now for the BeadBlogger Links. Have a great week everyone!
